Linguine Arrabbiata

  1. In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until garlic is just beginning to brown, careful not to burn.
  3. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine.
  4. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened, 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta for less than 2 minutes per package instructions for al dente.
  6. Drain and add pasta to sauce.
  7. Serve with grated cheese.
