German Pasta
- 2 c. chopped potatoes
- 12 oz. wide egg noodles
- 1 c. chopped yellow squash
- 1 c. chopped zucchini
- 2 lb. garlic sausage, sliced
- 2 (1.5) pkg. spaghetti sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans no salt added tomato paste
- 2 (8 oz.) cans not salt added tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (dry) Butter Buds
- Boil chopped potatoes, set aside.
- Boil egg noodles according to package directions, omitting salt.
- Steam chopped vegetables together; set aside.
- Fry sliced sausage in pan with vegetables cooking spray.
- Mix spaghetti sauce mixture according to package directions in saucepan, replacing butter with Butter Buds and using no salt added tomato paste instead of regular tomato paste. Add no salt added tomato sauce, boiled potatoes and garlic sausage.
- To serve, place noodles on plate, layer with steamed vegetables and top with sauce.
