Grandmother'S Icebox Fruit Cake

  1. Crush graham crackers and place in a large bowl. Add nuts, cherries, raisins and spices to crackers.
  2. Put milk and marshmallows in a large pot and heat slowly (do not boil) until marshmallows are melted. Stir to keep from sticking.
  3. Pour into cracker mixture and mix with hands.
  4. (Make sure nuts and cherries are not knotted up.)
  5. Put this into a casserole dish lined with wax paper.
  6. Press mixture until solid.
  7. Put in refrigerator overnight.
  8. Decorate with nuts and cherries.
