Macaroni And Cheese

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 400u0b0; melt two tablespoons margarine over low heat; add onion and cook until tender.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
  4. Slowly stir in milk, stirring until thick and smooth.
  5. Add 3/4 of the cheese and then stir into milk mixture until cheese is melted.
  6. Transfer cooked macaroni to lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  7. Pour cheese over macaroni and toss to coat.
  8. Top with reserved cheese.
  9. This recipe will serve 4 people.
