Spaghetti Sauce For 100 People
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 10 lb. meatballs or 3 lb. ground pork and 7 lb. ground beef, browned
- 1 (No. 10) can tomato paste
- 2 (No. 10) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1/3 c. basil
- 1/3 c. oregano
- 8 bay leaves
- 3 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 12 lb. spaghetti noodles
- Saute 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 cup chopped onion in pan.
- Place in bottom of Nesco.
- Brown ground pork and beef, if used.
- Put in Nesco.
- If using meatballs, put meatballs in Nesco.
- Add rest of the ingredients except spaghetti noodles.
- Simmer for 4 to 5 hours.
- Remove bay leaves before serving.
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions.
