Chocolate Crinkles
- 2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
- 3 large eggs
- 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Beat in vanilla and chocolate until blended.
- Gradually beat in flour until blended.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Lightly grease cookie sheets.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Roll in powdered sugar.
- Place 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Cookies are soft when hot, but firm and chewy when cool.
- Remove to wire rack to cool.
