Oven Barbecue Ribs
- 4 lb. pork ribs, cut into serving size pieces
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/3 c. chili sauce (bottled)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
- 3 thin lemon slices
- In large saucepan, add enough salted water to ribs to cover. Cover pan and simmer until almost tender or done, about 1 hour. Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt butter; add garlic and cook 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add rest of ingredients and bring to boiling.
- Drain ribs; place in shallow baking pan.
- Pour boiling sauce over ribs. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 20 minutes, basting often.
- Makes 4 servings.
