Overnight Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Start this recipe in the late afternoon.
  2. Bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in saucepan.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in shortening.
  5. Let stand to cool.
  6. Soften yeast in warm water. Combine yeast, salt and eggs with cooked mixture in mixer bowl. Add 4 cups flour, beating well.
  7. Add 2 cups flour; beat by hand. Let rise, covered, until doubled in bulk.
  8. Roll on floured surface. Spread with margarine.
  9. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  10. Roll up; cut into 1 1/2-inch rolls.
  11. Place in buttered 10 x 13-inch pan.
  12. Let rise, uncovered, in cold oven overnight.
  13. Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes.
