Five-Flavor Pound Cake

  1. Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugar, beating well.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition.
  4. Stir in flavorings.
  5. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
  6. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  8. Cool on wire rack.
  9. Spoon hot glaze over warm cake.
  10. Cool.
