Lasagna

  1. Fry garlic and onions until soft in hot oil in heavy pan.
  2. Add beef; cook until crumbly, stirring.
  3. Mix in salt and pepper. Blend tomato paste with water and spices.
  4. Stir in beef mixture. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  5. Pour a thin layer of sauce into oblong pan.
  6. Add 1/3 noodles.
  7. Add more sauce.
  8. Add 1/3 cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  11. Let set in pan for 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
