Mom'S Chili

  1. In large kettle or saucepan, brown ground beef.
  2. Drain and add onion; cook until tender.
  3. Add rest of ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Before serving, thicken with 3 tablespoons flour mixed with 1/4 cup water.
  5. Stir until thickened.
  6. Serve with cornbread.
  7. Kids love it!
