Rachel'S Sweet And Mild Chili
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 ounces canned mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 large yellow onion, Chopped
- 4 ounces chili sauce
- 14 1/2 ounces canned diced tomatoes
- 1 small fresh tomato, finely chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 14 1/2 ounces canned kidney beans
- Place olive oil in medium size pot and warm over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic and mushrooms and cook until tender and slightly brown.
- Add ground beef and brown.
- Add diced tomatoes, fresh tomato and kidney beans and stir.
- Stir in Chili Power and Cumin slowly and blend.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add Water to desired thickness.
- Cook for 15 Minutes.
- Serve with Corn Bread.
