Dutch Hache - Stewed Meat

  1. Brown the onions in the butter or oil.
  2. Add flour, mix well and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add beef broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add all other ingredients.
  5. Lower heat to simmer and cook for at least one hour or until meat is tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary. You may want more salt.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes, with cooked cabbage on the side.
