Lasagna For Two
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. dried whole oregano
- 5 lasagna noodles
- 1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/2 c. Ricotta cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- Saute beef and garlic in oil in a 10-inch skillet until meat is browned.
- Drain off drippings.
- Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Layer half of noodles, Mozzarella, Ricotta, meat sauce and Parmesan cheese in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Repeat layers.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Yield:
- 2 servings.
