Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. oats
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 4 oz. bar milk chocolate, grated
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- Cream together the butter and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.
- Mix together the flour, oats, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- Place small amounts in blender and process until mixture turns into powder.
- Mix butter-egg mixture with flour mixture until just blended.
- Add chocolate pieces, milk chocolate and chopped nuts.
- Roll into balls about the size of golf balls and place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 12 minutes.
- Makes 3 dozen cookies.
