Party Pate

  1. Fry bacon.
  2. Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
  3. Cool bacon and crumble.
  4. Using electric mixer or food processor, beat liverwurst until softened.
  5. Add butter and cream cheese and blend until light and fluffy.
  6. Add parsley, onion, brandy, curry powder, salt and pepper.
  7. I usually omit the salt.
  8. Spoon into crock or serving container.
  9. Swirl top. Cover and chill.
  10. Before serving, sprinkle with crumbled bacon and/or freshly chopped parsley. Serve with assorted crackers and Melba toast.
