Minestrone Soup

  1. In large pot on stove, slice sausage in olive oil.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrots and basil.
  3. Cook 5 minutes.
  4. Add zucchini, tomatoes, bouillon and cabbage and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for one hour.
  6. Add beans, rice and wine.
  7. Cook on low for 20 minutes.
