German Chocolate Pie

  1. Preheat oven
  2. to 375u0b0.
  3. In heavy saucepan over low heat melt chocolate and
  4. butter.
  5. In large bowl combine Eagle Brand milk and warm
  6. chocolate
  7. mixture.
  8. Mix well. Add eggs, water, vanilla and salt,
  9. mixing
  10. well.
  11. Pour
  12. filling into prepared crust and top with
  13. 1/2
  14. cup
  15. nuts and coconut.
  16. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is softly set.
  17. Cool and chill for 3 to 4
  18. hours before serving.
  19. Garnish with whipped cream and pecans, if desired.
