Fish Mulligan

  1. Cut fish into chunks and place with potatoes and onions into a soup pot.
  2. Add water and bring to a boil.
  3. Add rice, green peppers, bacon or salt pork; simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add parsley and crumbled bread.
  5. Add any leftover vegetables, heat through and season to taste.
  6. Bring to the boiling point and serve.
