Fried Ice Cream Dessert

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a 10 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add almonds; cook and stir 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in crushed cereal, coconut and brown sugar. Mix well.
  4. Press mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan or baking dish. Bake 8 minutes. Let cool and place in freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. While pan is cooling, remove ice cream from freezer and allow to soften in a large bowl.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over softened ice cream and mix well. Spread over cooled crust, cover and freeze for about 4 hours.
  7. Cut into 5 rows by 3 rows and serve with honey, caramel and/or chocolate sauce drizzled over top!
