Three Cheese Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. noodles (2/3 of 12 oz. pkg.; you may use ziti or spiral noodles)
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) soft cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- Cook beef, onion and green pepper until brown.
- Drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper.
- Prepare noodles as directed on package; drain.
- Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream.
- Spread half of noodles in 11 x 7-inch glass casserole dish.
- Top with meat sauce.
- Cover with cheese mixture.
- Repeat layer and top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
