Meat Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sliced pitted ripe olives, if desired
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1/2 recipe biscuit dough (Bisquick)
- Heat oven to 450u0b0.
- In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onions until meat is brown.
- Spoon off drippings.
- Stir in soup, milk, soy sauce and salt; heat through.
- Gently stir in olives and parsley.
- Pour mixture into baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inches).
- Prepare 1/2 recipe Bisquick biscuit dough from basic recipe.
- Roll dough into square, 7 x 7-inches.
- Cut square into 1-inch strips.
- Place strips over meat mixture.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Makes 4 servings.
