Shrimp Mousse
- 3/4 lb. cooked, peeled shrimp
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 3 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1/3 c. chili sauce
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon and pepper salt
- 1/2 tsp. liquid hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. minced bell pepper
- 1 1/2 envelopes gelatin
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- Place all ingredients in blender except gelatin and cold water. Blend well. Soften gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Dissolve over hot water.
- Add gelatin to mixture slowly.
- May be molded for salad or served as hors d'oeuvres. Garnish with olives and parsley.
- Makes 12 to 14 servings.
