Blueberry Crumble Dessert
- 1 cups fresh blueberries or (16 ounce) package frozen blueberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- Topping
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 1/3 cup butter, cubed or sliced thinly
- vanilla ice cream
- Toss blueberries with the lemon juice in an ungreased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
- Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 2 teaspoons cornstarch; stir into the blueberries.
- Mix oats, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and salt together; cut in butter with a fork.
- Sprinkle over blueberries.
- Bake uncovered in 350u0b0 oven until topping is light brown and blueberries are bubbling, about 40 minutes.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
