Ann'S Authentic Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Pour olive oil in a large pan or Dutch oven to cover bottom. Add garlic and onion.
  2. When lightly browned and limp, add tomato paste, sauce and tomatoes.
  3. Fill each can with water and add to pot.
  4. Add sugar and salt.
  5. Let simmer on very low heat.
  6. Stir frequently.
  7. Brown beef and pork in olive oil; sprinkle with salt. Add to sauce while simmering.
