Alea'S Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Ham

  1. Place water in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place ham in the slow cooker. Place lid on top and cook on HIGH for 1 hour.
  2. In a small pan, combine brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, orange juice and orange peel. Cook over medium heat until it reaches a boil.
  3. Drizzle honey mixture over ham.
  4. Lower the temperature on the slow cooker to LOW heat and cook for 3 hours.
  5. Slice and serve.
  6. Even a small ham produces a lot of meat. I use the leftover ham in recipes throughout the week. I save the ham bone to use in soup. Leftover ham can also be frozen and then thawed for an easy dinner on a busy night.
