Chicken Bites
- 1 (8 oz.) soft cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. onion salt
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1 c. finely chopped chicken
- 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 (2 oz.) jar pimento
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. sesame seed
- Combine first 6 ingredients until well blended.
- Stir in chicken, celery, pimento and set aside.
- Separate dough into rectangles.
- Spread about 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture over each rectangle, leaving 1/2-inch margin on either side.
- Roll dough, starting at side with filling to edge.
- Pinch seams to seal. Brush with egg and sprinkle with seed.
- Cut each roll into 5 pieces.
- Place seam side down on lightly greased sheet.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
