Mom'S Lasagna
- 1/4 of 1 lb. cooked lasagna
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 to 1 c. Parmesan cheese (in shaker)
- garlic powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 small carton cottage cheese
- Brown ground beef and garlic powder in oil; drain.
- Stir in tomatoes, sauce and seasonings.
- Simmer for 30 minutes uncovered. In bottom of greased pan, place 1/2 meat sauce and arrange 1/2 lasagna over top.
- Spoon 1/2 of Parmesan cheese, Cheddar and cottage cheese over top, then layer lasagna, cheeses and meat sauce.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
