Martha'S Company Casserole(Low-Fat Version)

  1. Early in the day, cook noodles as package directs; drain. Saute beef until browned (using a little margarine, if necessary). Remove from heat; add tomato sauce.
  2. Combine cheeses, sour cream, scallions and green pepper.
  3. Spread 1/2 of cooked noodles in 2-quart casserole.
  4. Cover with cheese mixture.
  5. Top with remaining noodles.
  6. Pour melted margarine over noodles (optional), then tomato-meat sauce.
  7. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
