Microwave Lasagna
- 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- Italian seasoning
- 1 large clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 3 c. grated Jack cheese
- 1 c. Ricotta cheese
- 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Mix first four ingredients.
- Layer in 9 x 13-inch casserole: thin layer of sauce, 3 raw noodles, all of raw ground beef, 1/2 Jack cheese, 1/3 sauce, 3 noodles, spread all Ricotta cheese, rest of Jack cheese, 1/2 remaining sauce, 3 noodles and rest of sauce. Cover loosely.
- Cook on 1/2 power (5) 10 minutes, turn 1/4.
- Cook 1/2 power 10 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Turn 1/4, cook on High (10) 7 minutes.
- Add cheese (Mozzarella and Parmesan).
- Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
