Macaroni Salad
- 2 c. macaroni
- water (to cook macaroni)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. sweet pickle relish, drained
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1 c. mayo
- 1 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. sugar
- dash of white pepper
- 1/2 c. shredded or cubed American cheese
- Drain macaroni after cooking in boiling water until done, about 7 minutes. Drain well and add salt, Worcestershire sauce and salad oil.
- Stir in onion, celery, relish and pimento.
- In a separate container, combine mayo, vinegar, sugar and pepper.
- Stir into salad and add cheese.
- Chill before serving.
- Serves 8 to 10.
