Lasagne Rounds
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 c. tomato juice
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lb. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- salt and pepper
- 8 oz. lasagne
- Brown hamburger; add onion and garlic.
- Drain fat.
- Blend in tomato juice, paste, water, sugar, salt and bay leaf.
- Simmer, uncovered, 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Blend cottage cheese and egg with 3/4 of the Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.
