Hamburger Kidney Bean Casserole

  1. Press raw hamburger in
  2. the
  3. bottom of a 3 quart casserole; sprinkle with salt
  4. and pepper.
  5. Layer the can of kidney beans with juice next
  6. and
  7. sprinkle
  8. with
  9. chili powder.
  10. Add chopped onion in a
  11. layer.
  12. Layer the top with sliced potatoes with salt, pepper and
  13. sugar
  14. over
  15. the
  16. top.
  17. Pour
  18. undrained chopped tomatoes over the
  19. top.
  20. Bake,
  21. covered,
  22. in 400u0b0 oven for 1 hour. Remove lid
  23. and bake another 20 minutes to remove excess liquid.
