Persimmon Cookies

  1. Cream sugar and margarine together; beat in egg.
  2. Sift flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves together.
  3. Stir in nuts and raisins. Puree persimmon pulp until smooth and stir in baking soda.
  4. Add persimmon mixture and dry ingredients alternately to creamed margarine and sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition. Drop by heaping teaspoonful on greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
  6. Makes about 2 dozen.
