Modeling Dough
- 1 1/4 c. Bisquick original baking mix
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. food color
- Mix Bisquick, salt and cream of tartar in a microwavable 4-cup glass measuring cup.
- Mix water and food color in a liquid measuring cup.
- Stir liquid into the dry mixture, a little at a time, until all the liquid is added.
- Microwave, uncovered, on High (100u0b0) for 1 minute.
- Scrape the mixture from the side of the cup and stir.
- Microwave, uncovered, on High (100u0b0) for 2 to 3 minutes longer, stirring every minute, until the mixture forms sort of a ball.
- Let the dough stand, uncovered, about 3 minutes. Spoon out of the measuring cup.
- Knead in your hands or on the counter about 1 minute or until smooth.
- Cool about 15 minutes. Use to make your favorite shapes and designs.
- Place in a tightly covered container or plastic bag; refrigerate.
- Makes about 1/2 pound.
