Chuck Wagon Ranch Beans
- 1 lb. bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can butter beans, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can Great Northern beans, drained
- 1 jar B & M beans (retain sauce)
- Cut bacon into small pieces and brown in frying pan.
- Put bacon into a large crock-pot or Dutch oven and drain grease from frying pan.
- In same frying pan, add hamburger and brown.
- Add hamburger to the crock-pot and drain off grease from frying pan.
- Saut onion in same pan, then add to crock-pot.
- Add all the beans to the crock-pot and stir to blend.
- In the same frying pan, add the brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and vinegar.
- Heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add to the crock-pot.
- Heat the crock-pot until beans are hot.
- Can be eaten right away or slow cooked for hours.
