Canadian Cheese Soup

  1. Mix cornstarch and cheese.
  2. Boil water.
  3. Gradually add cheese, stirring over medium heat until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add spices.
  6. Saute ham, then each vegetable separately in butter, adding each to soup.
  7. Heat again, adding milk until desired thickness is reached.
  8. Hearty enough for a whole meal!
