Texas Chili With Beans

  1. Heat water to a boil, cover and cook beans for 10 minutes.
  2. remove from burner and let kettle sit for 1-2 hours.
  3. Add water if needed to cover beans, add beef stock.
  4. Cook on low.
  5. In a skillet, heat oil, add meat, peppers, garlic and onion.
  6. Cook until meat is brown.
  7. Do not drain.
  8. Add all skillet ingredients, spices add other ingredients to the beans.
  9. Simmer covered till beans are soft, stirring occasionally.
  10. Add more seasoning to your liking and water if necessary (I like alot of liquid).
  11. Cook time approximately 3 hours.
