Super Spanish Rice

  1. Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet. Saute the ground beef until lightly browned and the vegetables are soft. Stir in the rice, tomatoes and sugar. When the mixture simmers, stir in the cheese, reserving a little to garnish the top. Pour into a large casserole and

  3. for one hour using long grain or brown rice, or 1/2 hour when using minute rice. Garnish with black and/or green stuffed olives and bell pepper strips if desired.
