Spaghetti Sauce And Eggless Meatballs
- Sauce
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 2 (6 ounce) cans water
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 (29 ounce) can water
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dry onion flakes (more or less to taste)
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning (more or less to taste)
- 8 tablespoons sugar
- cut up vegetables, such as green pepper, onions, mushrooms (optional)
- Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian spices
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Sauce: combine all ingredients in large dutch oven.
- Simmer on stove top 3-5 hours.
- Meatballs: Combine all ingredients together in large bowl.
- Shape into balls and place in simmering sauce to cook.
- **the meatballs can be browned in oven or on stovetop instead of being cooked in sauce.
