Turkey Soup(Leftover Turkey)

  1. Melt butter and saute
  2. onion,
  3. carrots and celery until celery and
  4. onion are limp and transparent.
  5. Add chopped green peppers, apples,
  6. tomato juice, turkey stock, flour and water mixed,
  7. curry powder,
  8. nutmeg, whole cloves, salt and pepper. Simmer until
  9. all vegetables
  10. are done.
  11. It can go for hours, but should simmer
  12. at least
  13. 1
  14. 1/2 to 2 hours on low simmer. Remove cloves and add cooked rice and turkey. Heat thoroughly. Makes 8 to 10 generous servings.
