Vegetable Garden Primavera(Serves 8)

  1. Cook linguine to package directions; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the squash, broccoli, asparagus and carrots in a small amount of boiling salted water until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  3. Drain. In a saucepan, combine light cream, basil and pepper; bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Boil for 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  5. Toss together linguine, vegetable mixture, cream mixture and Parmesan cheese.
