Delicious Apple Pie

  1. In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until dissolved.
  2. Add egg, cream, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Place apples in a large bowl; pour cream mixture over and stir to coat.
  4. Line a 9-inch pie pan with the bottom pastry.
  5. Pour apple mixture into crust; dot with butter.
  6. Top with remaining pastry; flute edges and cut slits in top.
  7. Brush with milk; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
