Mostaccioli Salad
- 1 (16 oz.) box mostaccioli noodles
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 6 drops yellow food coloring
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt (heaping)
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 2 tsp. Accent
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- Cook noodles in boiling water with food coloring.
- Cool in cold water.
- Drain well.
- Pour oil over noodles.
- Toss well.
- Blend in blender the remaining ingredients.
- Pour over noodles and chill. For color and taste, add chopped green pepper, radish, celery, tomatoes, etc.
- Stir occasionally.
- May be made a couple of days in advance for full flavor.
- Can be kept in refrigerator for a week.
