Meat Balls For Spaghetti
- 1 lb. ground round
- 1 1/2 slices Italian bread, cubed
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 small to medium egg
- 8 single soda crackers, rolled fine
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Put all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well. Gather enough meat mixture in hands to form golf-size meat balls. Place meat balls in your own spaghetti sauce, using 1 quart of sauce.
- Simmer at least 2 hours.
- If using crock-pot, put on low heat 8 or 9 hours.
- Makes 16 meat balls.
- Cook 1/2 pound dry spaghetti.
- Serves 6.
