Crescent Lasagna Rolls
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. each oregano, basil
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- garlic to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 cans refrigerator crescent rolls
- 1 pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- milk
- sesame seed (optional)
- Brown ground beef and sausage, stirring until crumbly.
- Add onions, spices, tomato paste and garlic.
- Mix well.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes and cool.
- Combine egg, cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese in bowl and mix well.
- Press crescent rolls into two 3 x 10-inch rectangles.
- Layer ground beef mixture, egg and cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese on rectangles.
- Roll each to enclose filling.
- Place on baking sheet.
- Brush with milk.
- Sprinkle with sesame seed.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 6.
