Sarasota'S Favorite Horseradish Sauce

  1. Sauce #1 -- Mix the sour cream, fresh grated horseradish, shallot, worcestershire, lemon juice, dijon, salt and pepper. Chill for at least 1 hour. Serve.
  2. Sauce #2 -- Because the prepared horseradish sauce already has some lemon and other ingredients for flavoring, I skip the worcestershire sauce, but you could always add some if you want. I also cut down the lemon as well, but I do use some for the freshness it offers.
  3. Mix the sour cream, prepared horseradish sauce, shallot, lemon juice, dijon, salt and pepper. Chill for at least 1 hour. Serve.
  4. Options -- I enjoy the mustard in mine, give it a try; you will not be disappointed. Also, I always start with a small amount of lemon to start and you can always add more. This way you can taste as you go.
  5. Serve -- With any of your favorite meats; prime rib, steak, lamb, pork, or even over baked salmon. ENJOY !
