Turkey Meat Loaf(Low-Fat)
- 1 tsp. chicken flavor instant bouillon
- 1/2 c. salsa
- 1 1/2 lb. ground skinless turkey breast
- 3/4 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg white
- 1 c. salsa
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In small bowl, stir chicken bouillon into 1/2 cup salsa.
- Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine turkey, oats, onion, basil, garlic powder, pepper and egg white.
- Mix well.
- Add bouillon mixture.
- Mix well.
- Spoon mixture into ungreased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan or shape mixture into an 8 x 4-inch loaf in ungreased 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes or until well browned and firm.
- Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
- Heat 1 cup salsa in small saucepan until warm.
- Serve with meat loaf.
- Makes 6 servings.
