Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugars until fluffy.
  2. Add egg whites.
  3. In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg; add to sugar mixture.
  4. Stir in oats, raisins and vanilla.
  5. Chill one hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Roll a teaspoon of the dough into a ball and place on the ungreased sheet.
  7. Bake 10 minutes.
  8. Cool on wire racks.
  9. Makes about 55 cookies; 1 gram of fat per cookie.
