Gelatin Trifle
- 1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jell-O brand strawberry sugar-free flavor gelatin
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. cold water
- ice cubes
- 1 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 c. sliced bananas
- 2 c. 1/2 inch pound cake cubes or angel food cake
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1 1/2 c. cold milk (skim)
- 1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling, sugar-free
- 1/2 c. thawed Cool Whip nondairy whipped topping
- Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups.
- Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
- Remove any unmelted ice.
- Stir in strawberries and bananas.
- Place cake cubes in large serving bowl; sprinkle with orange juice.
- Spoon gelatin mixture over cake in bowl.
- Chill 10 to 15 minutes.
